STARTING NEW ADVENTURES CAN BE FUN
First, hello there. I'm Mel of Moon Owl Designs, and I decided to launch this subsack because I've always loved to write, and express myself with words on a page. I want to share my thoughts, ideas, emotions, feelings and experiences with others like you. What better time than NOW to do this; to be here with you.
I'm an artist, maker of many different handmade mediums, a thrift flipper, sometimes a reseller, a pagan, eclectic spiritual witch from Orlando, FL.
I want this to be, not just a safe space for me, but for any and everyone that comes here to read my post. I want you to feel a sense of relatability, calm, trust and excitement. Let's build a community where we can speak our minds without being attacked for it. One where we can say what's on our mind without worrying about what other's think. Let's practice kindness. Remember, we don't always have to agree with each other but we should always show respect, if not, at least tolerance.
I'm not exactly sure how often I'll post here yet but if I do come up with a schedule it will be posted here, and on my Instagram moonowldesigns.
As for specific types of topics that's yet to be determined. However, I do have a lot I want to talk about when it comes to things like vending (art/maker's) pop-ups/markets, and hostin/organizing them. Also, as a practicing witch I would also like to post about witchcraft, spiritual and metaphysical things.
